Our Policies

Please treat these like the fine/rare cars they are — no food, drinks, pets, smoking, etc. in them.

All rentals will be done on Island Classics’ website and/or rental software.

All rentals will include full replacement insurance; in the event of an accident, deductible cost is additional.

Vehicles are rented, inclusive of 200 kilometers per day. Additional kilometres are charged at $0.35, each.

Vehicles will be delivered and picked-up within 30 kms of Charlottetown. Additional charge of $0.75 per kilometre applies, thereafter.

Gas tank is full, at delivery; please return full or gas will be charged at $3.50 per litre, to fill.

Only listed driver is insured and allowed to use the vehicle; one additional driver may be added, initially, at $50.00 per day.

Vehicle service/maintenance, if required, must only be done by Island Classics – just call us.

Insured driver(s) is entirely responsible for lawful driving, during use.

Tracking software is used to know where our vehicles are and how they are being operated, at all times.

HST is additional to all quoted prices.

Now towing is permitted in our vehicles, without consent at rental (additional charge).

We do not negotiate from these posted rates so please don’t ask.

Costs of speeding fines, tolls, tickets, et cetera, will be billed to Renter, with a 10% service fee, if applicable.

Given we only operate seasonally, with one rate per vehicle where reasonably there is more demand in some days and weeks than others, Island Classics allows rental cancellation refunds as follows:
a) 80% refund up to 30 days prior to a booked rental period;
b) 70% refund between 29 days to 7 days prior to a booked rental period;
c) 50% refund between 6 days to 1 day(s) prior to a booked rental period;
d) No refund within 24 hours of a booked rental period. We will always try to accommodate an alternative rental date, within the same calendar year, where possible, for a $50.00 administrative fee. Should a different rental vehicle be chosen than was originally booked, the cost (extra charge or refund) will be applied to the change.
